OPPO A94
has launched as the successor to OPPO A93 which started in October last year.
The new Oppo phone comes with the same MediaTek Helio P95 SoC and 20: 9 AMOLED
display which were both available on the previous year's model. It also has
Qaurd rear cameras with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, just like the Oppo A93.
However, the OPPO A94 camera comes with feature enhancements and a slightly
larger 4,310mAh battery. The smartphone also runs Android 11 out-of-the-box.
Oppo A94 price and specification
The price
of OPPO A 94 is yet to be revealed. However, the phone is currently listed on
the Oppo UAE site with detailed specifications. Tipster Evan Blass claimed
earlier this month that the latest OPPO codename works with the Oppo
"Darwin", and that it will come in Asia as the Oppo Reno 5F, in India
as the Oppo F19 and in Europe as the OPPO A 94 . The same model was also said
to get the 5G variant which is under development as the Oppo "Elsa" and
may launch as the Oppo A94 5G or OPPO F19 Pro.
In terms
of availability, the Oppo UAE site does not provide any concrete details.
However, Blas did mention that the Oppo A94 will arrive later this month -
following the debut of the Oppo Find X3-series, which is set for March 11.
The Oppo
A94 sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution, 60Hz refresh
rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P95 SoC
with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD
card. The device runs Google's Android 11 operating system with the company's
ColorOS 11.1 skinned out of the box. It is supported by a 4,310mAh battery with

For
security, the device has an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports facial
recognition using the front camera.
The device
has a quad camera setup at the back with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an
unspecified ultra wide angle lens, a macro lens and a monochrome sensor. On the
front, it has a 32-megapixel sensor with an 85-degree field for taking selfies.
In other
news, Leicester Evan Blass recently revealed that the Oppo smartphone is named
Darwin, which will launch as the Reno 5F in Asia, the A94 in Europe and the F19
in India. The company has revealed that it will launch its upcoming F19 Pro and
F19 Pro + 5G in India on 8 March.
The
dual-sim (Nano) Oppo A94 runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 and has a
6.43-inch full-HD + (2,400x1,080 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20: 9 aspect
ratio and 90% refresh rate. is. The display supports 135Hz touch sampling rate
in normal mode and 180Hz in game mode. Under the hood, the Oppo A94 has the
octa-core MediaTek Helio P95, as well as the IMG 9XM-HP8 GPU and 8GB LPDDR4x
RAM. The phone comes with a quad rear camera setup which has a 48-megapixel
primary sensor with an F / 1.7 lens. The camera setup also includes a wide
shooter with an f / 2.2 aperture and a macro shooter and a mono sensor - both
with an f / 2.4 lens. Oppo has not revealed the exact megapixel count of

the selfie and video chat, the Oppo A94 has a single 32-megapixel camera sensor
at the front. It is paired with an f / 2.4 lens. This is in contrast to the
Oppo A93 which includes a dual selfie camera setup.

A94 has 128GB onboard storage as standard with a microSD card slot for
expansion. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, triple-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
v5.1, GPS / A-GPS, a USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also
includes an in-display fingerprint sensor. It packs a 4,310mAh battery that
supports 30W VOOC fast charging.
